The big day has come! Melena & Nikos' wedding was the perfect way to end 2019! This Miami destination wedding was everything we have been waiting for and more!!! Both the bride & groom are Greek-Americans, so the wedding had a lot of the greek orthodox christian traditional wedding customs, and sure all the friends and family danced a lot - maybe smashed a few dishes too - but everything was as elegant and luxurious as it can be!
The day started with the bride and groom's preparations at their houses in Miami beach!!! Even though their pre-wedding photoshoot at Miami beach was kinda cloudy, their wedding day was sunny & bright (and it was the only day that the weather was nice during the time we spent at Florida!) With that being said, you can understand why we're so happy about this first look being so sunny at Vizcaya Museum & Gardens!!
After helping the couple get ready, the bridal party continued to be a big part of the first look at Vizcaya Museum & Gardens! The groomsmen and the bridesmaids were there to see the expression on Nikos' face when Melena appeared in her awesome custom-made wedding dress (designed by her cousin Nicole Diakoumakos!) looking like a real life princess!! She even had the tiara and the Manolo Blahnik shoes!!
Following the first look & the wedding ceremony, the reception dinner and party took pace at Vizcaya Museum & Gardens as well! The wrecked ship was truly magnificent all lighten up in the middle of the night! The decoration was incredibly chic & sophisticated, making the venue look even more magical! The party went on till the first morning hours & family and friends of the newly weds had an amazing time & cherished their new step in life!
