Cavo Ventus is a venue built exactly there, and Lucy and Barry fell in love with it for their destination wedding from London to Greece.
They said: “We met on Valentine’s day in 2010 at a party through a mutual friend (my bridesmaid Shanie) and only 3 months later, we moved in together.
5 years later and Barry got down on my knee and proposed to me in September 2015 in the most romantic place called Fisherman’s Bastion which is a beautiful terrace of Matthias Church looking over the city of Budapest.
Having been to a friend’s wedding in Ibiza, we decided to get married abroad as we loved the idea of spending more than just one day together with our friends and family in a relaxed atmosphere with the most amazing scenery, which is how we set our hearts on the beautiful island of Santorini. We visited Santorini where we booked our venue, Cavo Ventus, a private secluded villa set on the cliff edge, offering the uninterrupted views of Santorini’s coastline and sunset”.
As the view is so magnificent and speaks for itself, the couple chose minimalistic and chic decoration in ivory shades and greenery.
We had fun at the bridal room of Cavo Ventus with the ladies getting ready, away from the prying eyes of the Gentlemen! Deep blue for the bridesmaids’ dresses turned out a perfect choice to surround the bride! And we chose the ideal locations for the couple photography after the ceremony, as you will see below.
After another amazing sunset session, we returned to the reception area, where the most fun party began until late hours...
